The morning started early, with the house buzzing with excitement. Despite the rain outside, nothing could dampen the joyful vibe indoors. Country music played, a delicious breakfast was laid out, and prosecco flowed freely. The house was filled with fresh blooms—from Kat’s and bridesmaids bouquets—adding colour and warmth to every corner. The atmosphere was calm yet filled with excitement, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.
The morning was all about the girls—bridesmaids, family, and Kat’s closest women, gathered in the most beautiful way. Laughter echoed through the rooms, prosecco glasses clinked, and stories were shared, creating a warm and intimate vibe. Kat’s makeup was done by Claire Hayes, while her bridesmaids were beautifully styled by Claire’s assistant. It was lovely to watch them helping each other, especially during the special moment when Kat slipped into her Suzanne Neville gown. Surrounded by her girls, with everyone cheering her on, it was a truly breathtaking moment. The timeless elegance of the dress, paired with the love and excitement in the room, made her glow even more, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the day.
The ceremony took place at Morden Park House, an elegant venue that perfectly complemented the couple’s style. Kat and her bridesmaids arrived in a classic white wedding car, and in a perfect twist of fate, the rain stopped just in time for the confetti moment.
Even with a light drizzle earlier, the love and joy in the room made everything feel warm and radiant.
After the ceremony, everyone climbed aboard a traditional red bus bound for The County Arms, where the real party began.
First things first!
The pub was beautifully decorated with homegrown flowers and thoughtful touches—dried flower table numbers, florals Kat planted with her mother-in-law, and charming details that brought a personal vibe to the space. Emotional speeches brought laughter and a few happy tears, setting the perfect tone for an evening filled with celebration.
